Sundance Channel/AMC is developing Anna’s limited series based on the Allegra Goodman novel INTUITION.

HBO is working with Anna, in conjunction with Michael Showalter, to develop a series based on her play ACTUALLY.

Anna is writing a screenplay for Scott Free Productions, in conjunction with Great Point Media.

The production of ACTUALLY at The Geffen Playhouse was nominated for 6 Ovation Awards, including Best Production and Playwriting for an Original Play.

THE LAST MATCH and ACTUALLY concluded runs at The Roundabout Theatre Company and Manhattan Theatre Club, respectively, in the fall of 2017.

Anna Ziegler: Plays One was published by Oberon Books in 2016.

THE LAST MATCH was nominated for the 2016 San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Play.

BOY number two on Huffington Post’s Best of 2016!

Anna was the commencement speaker and recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, June 3, 2016, Chicago, IL (Read about it in the Chicago Tribune).

Anna sat on the panel: “Epic Stories of Genius” alongside Alan Alda, Alan Lightman, Peter Parnell, and Matt Brown at the 2016 World Science Festival.

Anna wrote two short films—“Sleep Training” (directed by Cynthia Silver) and “Fortress” (directed by and starring Amir Arison), both released in Spring 2016.

Boy was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award.

PHOTOGRAPH 51 won the 2016 WhatsOnStage award for Best New Play, and Nicole Kidman won the Evening Standard award for Best Actress for her performance in PHOTOGRAPH 51.
