Sundance Channel/AMC is developing Anna’s limited series based on the Allegra Goodman novel INTUITION. HBO is working with Anna to develop a series based on her play ACTUALLY. Anna is also writing a screenplay for Scott Free Productions, in conjunction with Great Point Media.

THE LAST MATCH will be produced at the Roundabout Theatre Company in September-December, 2017.

Anna’s newest play ACTUALLY will have its co-world-premiere in spring/summer 2017 at the Geffen Playhouse and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. It will then be produced at The Manhattan Theatre Club in October-December, 2017.

THE WANDERERS will have its world premiere at The Old Globe Theatre in April 2018, under the direction of Barry Edelstein.

PHOTOGRAPH 51 played Latvia’s Liepaja Theatre in November 2016, and will play Rome’s Teatro Eliseo in March-April, 2017, Stockholm’s Playhouse Teater in February-April, 2017, and Hamburg’s Ernst Deutsch Theater in February, 2017.

Anna is under commission at Second Stage Theatre, The Geffen Playhouse and Seattle Rep.

THE LAST MATCH was nominated for the 2016 San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Play.

BOY number two on Huffington Post’s Best of 2016!

Anna was the commencement speaker and recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, June 3, 2016, Chicago, IL (Read about it in the Chicago Tribune).

Anna sat on the panel: “Epic Stories of Genius” alongside Alan Alda, Alan Lightman, Peter Parnell, and Matt Brown at the 2016 World Science Festival.

Anna joined Nilo Cruz, Rachel Bonds, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Lydia Diamond, George Brant and others at the 2016 Sallie B. Goodman McCarter Theatre Writer’s Retreat.

Anna wrote two short films—“Sleep Training” (directed by Cynthia Silver) and “Fortress” (directed by and starring Amir Arison), both released in Spring 2016.

Boy was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award.

PHOTOGRAPH 51 won the 2016 WhatsOnStage award for Best New Play, and Nicole Kidman won the Evening Standard award for Best Actress for her performance in PHOTOGRAPH 51.

Anna spoke at Newnham College, Cambridge in Fall 2015.
